Full Time PositionsParis, France --- Director of Automotive Interior Design
Minimum 12 years experience --- language fluency in French Within this major and well-known studio, the Successful Candidate will Manage, Lead and Develop advanced and production Automotive Interior Design Proposals. Help to redefine existing brands, and research and evaluate market and cultural trends, and propose original design solutions of fresh interior environments. Develop designs that incorporate new form language in appearance, style, proportion, construction, including unique or new features, technology, innovations, and definitions that tell a story. Work with creative Package Engineering teams to define and adjust new vehicle architectures, and define and successfully establish high standards of Perceived Quality, while integrating all Color and Materials Designers on both concept and production programs. This team is growing and in immediate need of Interior Design Leadership. A Bachelors or Master Degree in Industrial or Automotive Design (or equivalent) is required. Brazil --- Automotive Chief Designers Minimum 10 years experience --- language fluency in Spanish or Portuguese Build and Lead a team of creative designers, modelers, studio engineers and digital and clay sculptors to create the most compelling and appropriate design solutions in two dimensions (2-D) and three dimensions (3-D) for the South American Markets. Plan and organize the workloads, manpower, timing and personnel of projects with the support of the Studio Management Teams. Successful candidates must show evidence of production and concept design successes through cars displayed at major international shows, and have quantifiable experience in developing full size exterior and interior properties for concept and production. Periodically travel to Europe for presentations to Senior Management and travel to Auto Shows, Satellite Studio Support/Reviews, Manufacturing Plants, Suppliers, Tradeshows, Dealer and Public Relations events. A Bachelors or Master Degree in Industrial or Automotive Design (or equivalent) is required. Shanghai, China --- Automotive Chief Exterior Designer Minimum 8 years experience --- language fluency in ethnic Mandarin Within this hands-on design management position, you will guide and mentor a staff of at least 15 other designers in tasks that are 50% concept and 50% production based. Suitable candidates will have a minimum 8 years of experience, and fully understand the nuances of production intent products. In this role, you will also lead, mentor and inspire others to produce extremely creative solutions for advanced concepts based on collaboration with marketing, advanced engineering and the results of extensive research results. Train for at least 6 months in Paris and report to a world class Director with proven successes in European markets. Work on the global product range with an emphasis on development of the Brand, including future forecasting and brand definition activities integrated into daily responsibilities. A Bachelors or Master Degree in Industrial or Automotive Design (or equivalent) is required. Beijing China --- up to 15 years experience Extremely Creative Concept Designer --- Mandarin skills NOT required This well-know globally established Brand studio seeks an extremely Creative Concept designer, not necessarily production experienced, who is western and has western experience (North/South American or European). This person will bring diversity to a mostly Chinese design team, including cultural aspects, and international creative process and expressions. The successful Candidate will boost the creatively level in the studio due to his positive, energetic and creative attitude and eagerness to experience and indulge in a truly Chinese/Asian life experience. Beijing China --- 7 - 15 years experience Automotive Senior Designer --- multiple positions available This is a fully employed position in China, not a limited term Contract, with a Major International Automotive Manufacturer. Candidates must have a University Degree (or Masters) in Transportation or Industrail Design. Build, motivate and mentor a creative team of Automotive Designers, in new studio facilites opening soon. Paris, France --- Automotive Exterior and Interior Designers 3 to 15 years experience --- language fluency in French preferred Designers in this studio have responsibilities to develop their successful concept design proposals from the Concept phase, all the way through to final Production sign off. Successful candidates will have experience in both exterior and interior programs with excellent sketching, ideation and communication skills (required) and a good working knowledge of Alias, and Photoshop, etc. Responsibilities will include creating vehicle concepts with the added capability and experience to create pre-production solutions. Work on domestic as well as international products with a growing team of pioneering designers and design Directors. A Bachelors or Master Degree in Industrial or Automotive Design (or equivalent) is required. Beijing China --- 2 to 7 years experience Automotive Designer --- Exterior and/or Interior This is a fully employed position in China, not a limited term Contract, with a Major International Automotive Manufacturer. Contract positionsWe function as agents for the hiring authorities of the major North American, European and Asian industrial and automotive design studios. We locate, screen and present the best possible design candidates for Contract Employment;
Exterior and Interior Automotive Designers --- now required Automotive Designers/Senior Designers apply their skills to design vehicle Exteriors and Interiors, using a variety of media, including the very latest computer technology. They prepare sketches, renderings, and 3D CAID proposals for management reviews. They work with other disciplines in the development of scale and full size clay models ultimately interfacing with program engineering teams in the development of feasible high quality products based on their designs. Candidates must have at least 3 years on the job experience in the automotive field, exceptional design intuition, strong problem solving skills and a superior ability to visually communicate through sketches, and renderings. Ability to think three-dimensionally with a strong emphasis on proportions and a refined sense of form also required. Must have a Bachelors in Industrial or Transportation Design. Skills Preferred: CAID training/experience in both 2D and 3D is highly desired. Timing: Could start ASAP upon acceptance from the client. Rate: $70k - $75k annually, with options for Health Insurance and paid holidays. Detroit --- up to 10 years experience Product/Industrial Designers --- now required For automotive component and accessory design, digital and manual skills required. Long-term contract, hourly rate dependant on skills and years of experience. Minimum requirement Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Automotive Design. Detroit --- up to 10 years experience Graphic Interaction Designer Designers --- now required Develop content navigation and interaction prototypes through process flowcharts, matrixes, diagrams and other documentation. Create user scenarios, layouts and all other aspects of the user interface. Professional working experience in developing graphical user interfaces (GUIs), and knowledge and/or interest in embedded user interfaces and its technology. Minimum requirement Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Automotive Design. |
